Born in Dallas, Ingrid was raised by her family to respect others, to treat people right, and to work hard. She understands the need for professional humility while wearing the robe of justice. Ingrid is a graduate of the High School for Public Service, Government, Law and Law Enforcement in Dallas, Texas currently known as Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet where at an early age she served and won a state-wide competition as a judge. She honed her leadership skills at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, and graduated in three and a half years.
Ingrid earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Texas School of Law where she learned it is as important to understand the policy reason for the law as it is to know the law. Her professional experience includes serving as a United States Bankruptcy Court law clerk. Thereafter, she worked as an associate with a large Dallas based law firm.
Ingrid will bring to the bench her knowledge of the capital markets and financial services. She spent over four years advising hard-working Texans on investment strategies for growing and preserving wealth. She understands the financial issues facing large and small estates.
As a shareholder in a boutique law firm, Ingrid has developed a law practice focused on probate administration, guardianships and probate litigation. Ingrid has dedicated her practice to serving and representing people in the probate practice area. Ingrid’s temperament, knowledge, real-world experience, and compassion make her the ideal candidate for judge of Probate Court No. 2.
In her spare time, Ingrid enjoys social dancing, spending time with friends and family, mentoring children with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, volunteering with her church and spending time with her dog, Loki.
